01
The problem
Aurora Botanics sold handmade skincare at weekend markets, and its look had grown by accident: three logos, five greens, labels printed whenever stock ran low. Buyers loved the products but could not tell the range apart on a shelf. The founder knew the story was strong; the packaging simply was not telling it.
02
The approach
I began with a two-hour workshop and a wall of the founder’s pressed leaves. One idea kept returning: botanical, but never fussy. We tested three routes on real bottles, in daylight, beside competitors, before choosing one.
03
The solution
A hand-cut leaf monogram, a tight palette of clay, sage and cream, and a serif wordmark with generous spacing. Each product line gets its own tint, so the range reads as one family. Guidelines and print-ready labels mean new stock never needs a designer again. Even the shipping box now feels like a small, deliberate gift.
